ISSA/Securipro TT update
Seven rural and seven urban matches were played on Tuesday as the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/Securipro Table Tennis competition continued.
In the rural contests, hosts Glenmuir blanked newcomers Knox 5-0 in both boys’ Under-19 and boys’ Under-16, Munro edged visitors Belair 3-2 in boys’ Under-16,
Visitors Cross Keys drubbed newcomers May Day 5-0 in boys’ Under-16,
St Mary High blanked hosts Guy’s Hill 5-0 in boys’ Under-19, and hosts St Hilda’s blanked newcomers Westwood 3-0 in both girls’ Under-19 and girls’ Under-16.
In the urban encounters, hosts Campion defeated Hillel 3-2 in boys’ Under-19 and 5-0 in boys’ Under-16, in a double-header
St George’s College shared the honours with visitors Jamaica College in another double-header, St George’s winning 3-2 in Under-19, and JC winning 4-1 in Under-16,
Defending champions St Jago turned back visitors Bridgeport 4-1 in boys’ Under-16,
hosts Gaynstead got by newcomers St Mary’s College 4-1 in boys’ Under-16, and Wolmer’s Boys drubbed visitors Ascot 5-0 in Under-16.

In individual results in the St Hilda’s/Westwood girls’ Under-19 encounter, Kymloy Oliver, Kennedy Henry and Chanae Campbell cruised to easy 3-0 victories over Xiao Liong, Chrisaine Brown, and Chanelle White, respectively, for St Hilda’s 3-0 triumph.
In the Under-16 contest between the two teams, Shelby-Ann Minott, Kimayne Martin, and Chelsie White scored 3-0 wins over Danielle Grizzle, Celine Hugh and Yasani Bailey, respectively.
