BEST LIVE ACTION MOVIE: THOR: THE DARK WORLD
MARVEL Productions had left teenAGE with our favourite live-action film, Thor: The Dark World. This was also the eighth adventure coming out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was released worldwide during the fall of last year.
The plot had an assortment of situations: from Dr Jane Foster being possessed by an Aether — “an ancient force of infinite destruction”; the return of an evil lineage of humanoid beasts called The Dark Elves; the murder of the Queen of Asgard, Frigga; to the God of Lies and Mischief, Loki, seeming to have turned over a new leaf.
The King of Asgard, Odin, has recalled happenings from thousands of years ago. How The Ruler of The Dark Elves, Malekith the Accursed, planned to “…transform our universe back into eternal night…” However, valiant Asgardian armies ensured that this did not happen. But the Aether had reappeared and Malekith could sense its power. He would stop at nothing until he could regain its possession and fulfil his deepest desire.
Thor: The Dark World abounded with suspense and special effects. Also, multiple themes of love right through to vengeance. Did you enjoy this film as much as we did?
