BOJ cash in on business house table tennis
The Jamaica Table Tennis Association has followed up on their recent historic home opening with yet another achievement, as they hosted their business house competition, which has been off the calendar for a few years.
The competition, which took place at Caribbean Palm Community Centre on Spanish Town Road, was dominated by Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) who copped four of the five titles on offer.
Bank of Jamaica won the Team title as well as the Singles title after captain Alphanso Murray made light work of his opponents, and went on to beat Maurice Stewart in three sets, 11-6, 11-6, 11-2.
The ladies Singles was won by Digicel’s Rosanna Moo-Young who defeated BOJ’s Yanique Barrett. BOJ also captured the mixed doubles as Murray returned to team with Barrett to secure the title, before Murray again teamed with Glenroy Williams to capture the male title.
The dress parade was won by Bank of Nova Scotia.
