Farewell, Nelson Mandela, my love

No words will ever be adequate enough to express my sorrow at the passing of my beloved hero Nelson Mandela. I have always felt that the black world was cheated of its royal couple when he and Winnie Mandela broke up a few years after he came out of prison. Mandela’s contribution to the world will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.

Projecting failure

The big project has fallen through and he has found himself up the creek because of his huge gamble in putting everything he owned behind it. The entire family is taking it hard. The timing could not be worse, right before Christmas. It’s not going to be a merry Christmas this year, for sure.

Last one to leave please turn off the light

The neighbours say she is the last of the family members to leave, after the break-up of the marriage which tore the family apart. One by one they migrated because of the embarrassment. But people are saying it was not her fault that hubby wanted to look up every skirt that came in sight.

No jingling bells

The company which wowed everyone with parties and gifts, especially around Christmas, seems to have run out of steam. The word is that there will be no parties this Yuletide season and the best that can be expected are Xmas cards.
