KPH receives ambulance from Herro Blair
KINGSTON, Jamaica– Former Political Ombudsman and pastor of the Faith Cathedral Deliverance Centre Herro Blair and Reverend Jim Whittingham of the World Deliverance International handed over a new ambulance to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) Friday.
Lyttleton Shirley, Board Chairman for the South East Regional Health Authority said, “This ambulance is a welcomed boost to the fleet at KPH, as ambulances are a key component of patient care especially in certain situations where immediate medical care is required and a fraction of a second delay can drastically change someone’s life. As the island’s largest multidisciplinary health facility in the island, KPH sees over 70,000 patients in its accident and emergency depart alone, which is testimony to the overwhelming demand for emergency services. Therefore, an additional ambulance will certainly enhance KPH’s ability to respond to more medical emergencies effectively.”
The official ceremony took place at Blair’s Faith Cathedral Deliverance Centre on Waltham Park Road, Kingston 10.
