VIDEO: HEART Trust/NTA is Observer Business Leader
The HEART Trust/NTA was last night crowned Jamaica Observer Business Leader 2013 at a gala awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston.
The award, now in its 17th year, paid tribute to public sector companies that have been assisting the growth and development of the private sector.
The eight-member selection panel described their job of choosing the winner as a “Herculean task” because the seven nominated public sector entities had all distinguished themselves by the nature of their contribution to nation-building.
In addition to HEART/NTA, the nominees were the Port Authority of Jamaica, the National Export Import Bank of Jamaica, the Development Bank of Jamaica, the Jamaica Promotions Corporation, the Jamaica Tourist Board, and the National Housing Trust.
