What’s wrong with us Caribbean people?
You would think that Trinidad would have learnt from Barbados in how not to treat Jamaicans. But then they might really have learnt how to dish out the bad treatment that Barbados is known for! Let’s hope the CCJ ruling in the Shanique Myrie case can eventually help to curb that dreadful tendency among immigration officers to punish Jamaicans. We are poor, but the kindest of them all.
Pity me, please
The CEO who fled the island in the midst of the investigation is begging off, saying his children are still here and shouldn’t be made to suffer for his wrongdoings. It’s hard not to feel sorry for him.
