THE Intercol Table Tennis Competition continues today with the playing of three matches, starting at 3:00 pm.

UWI will entertain UTech in a males and females double-header in the Students’ Union Hall, and GC Foster will host Mico in a males contest.

This is the last set of preliminary round matches and finalists in each category will be confirmed after these games.

UTech are defending male champions, while UWI are four-time defending female champions.

In male points standings, UTech lead with maximum 10 points, ahead of UWI on nine points, GC Foster six, and Mico with five. Each team has one match left to play.

On the female side, UWI are on top with maximum six points, followed by UTech five points and GC Foster four.

GC Foster have played all their matches, while UWI and UTech each have one match remaining.

The top-two finishers in each category will contest the final, which will be played, along with individual events, at UTech on Thursday, November 28.

UTech are coached by Colin McNeish, UWI by Sandra Riettie, GC Foster by Donald Salmon and Richard Davidson, and Mico by Stephen Grant.
