13 summoned to volleyball training camp
THE Jamaica Volleyball Association has invited 13 players to commence training for the Caribbean Under -17 Volleyball Championships scheduled for Trinidad, from December 4-9, 2013.
The players invited are Matthew Williams, Mark Blake, Mikel Scott, Jovan Thomas, and Zeamoy Patterson from St Jago High School; Akeem Patterson from Portmore Community College; Taro Jones from Campion College; Karim Mogg from Jamaica College and UWI Volleyball Club; Chevaro Clarke and Davoy Palmer from Camperdown High School; Shamar Daye, Shamari Daye and Rojey Hutchinson from Oracabessa High School.
As part of their preparation, the team has been entered in the UWI Invitational Volleyball Classics scheduled for the weekend of November 15-17, 2013.
Coaches Ortnel Findlay, Steve Davis, Adrian Ramdeen, and Gatashu Bonner will oversee the training camp.
