Sunday’s race meet officially abandoned
It is now official. The race meeting of Sunday October 27 was officially abandoned by the promoting company, Caymanas Track Limited (CTL).
In a release under the signature of the chief executive officer, Cedric Stewart, CTL advised that due to technical and electrical problems associated with their totalizator and camera systems, which were damaged by lightning, the promised continuation of the race meet on Wednesday (October 30) is not possible.
The release further stated that all legitimate bets will be refunded. CTL also expressed regrets at the inconvenience caused to punters and all stakeholders.
