Holmwood clobber neighbours Christiana in school netball
HOLMWOOD Technical registered a convincing 58-5 win over Chistiana High in the Junior League of the ISSA/Digicel Rural Area Schoolgirls Netball Competition at Holmwood school court, last Friday.
The Manchester-based Holmwood were playing their first match since the death of four of their schoolmates late last month.
According to coach Carline Graham-Powell, things are still a little shaky, but slowly progressing after the fatal traffic accident that rocked the island.
She said the seniors, who are the all-island and rural area champions, will begin their title defence against Knox College this afternoon.
The Holmwood coach added that Knox College junior and senior teams have not lost a match and currently lead Zone E.
