Hondas invade Florida city
ORLANDO, Florida, will experience its first Honda Day motor show this Saturday and Sunday.
According to event organiser Javier Ortega, this trip to the Sunny state is special.
“We have a lot of fans in this area and we want to bring our Honda Day event to them,” Ortega told Auto. Ortega was recently in the island as a judge at the Skunk Nation’s Importer Tuner Night at the National Stadium in June.
Honda Day has been a staple of the east coast import performance car scene with its most recent staging taking place in New Jersey in August. The show is famous for its blend of drag racing and numerous modified rides on display. Ortega expects Orlando will be no different.
“The event will include the world’s fastest front-wheel drive turbo and all motor drag racing along with a fully judged car show open to Honda and Acura vehicles only,” he said.
Fans will get in on the action at Honda Day Orlando 2K13 as they have the chance to win a 2001 Integra Type R built by Ortega’s Team Honda.
