Goodwill Boy continues strong Jamaica run in T&T
Goodwill Boy continued the good performances of Jamaican-bred and trained horses when he raced to victory in the second race of eight on the Santa Rosa Park on Saturday last in Trinidad and Tobago.
Goodwill Boy trained by Anthony Nunes and ridden by Wilmer Gaviz, won by two and a half lengths and covered the distance of 1350 metres in a time of 1:23.3 minutes. Goodwill Boy was bred at HAM Stables (War Marshall – Checkinwithmom) and is owned by regional owner Elias Haloute. While Goodwill Boy was winning in Trinidad by two and a half lengths, Haloute was in Jamaica enjoying another victory – this time with the two-year-old Golden Bullet who started his career with a measured victory over five rivals.
Second in the Goodwill Boy race was the American-bred Curfew Breaker, with another Jamaican-bred horse, Sam’s Hero, in third position.
