Bolt upbeat about Worlds 4x100m gold
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Double World sprint champion Usain Bolt has expressed confidence in Jamaica taking gold in the 4×100 relay at the 14th World Championships in Moscow on Sunday, the final day of the meet.
“We have a great team, it should be great run,” Bolt said in a television interview after creating history winning the 200m final.
Meanwhile Jamaica at the end of the penultimate Day 8 of the Championships has copped seven medals — four gold, two silver and a bronze.
The women’s 4×100 relay final will also take place Sunday morning with Jamaica harbouring great expectations for a medal.
Heats in the women’s 4×100 start at 7:15am and the men’s at 7:50am Jamaica time.
The men’s 4×100 final is scheduled for 9:40 am just after the women at 9:10am to bring the curtain down on the 14th World Champs.
