Nickiesha Wilson only Jamaican in 400m hurdles final
KINGSTON, Jamaica- Jamaican Nickiesha Wilson qualified for the women’s 400M hurdles final to be held on Thursday August 15 at 11:45am Jamaica time.
Wilson progressed as one of the fastest losers (54.94), after finishing fifth in the first semi-final Tuesday.
Ristananna Tracey the other Jamaican in the semi finals also finished fifth running 55.43 in semi final two.
Wilson will compete against World defending champion American Lashinda Demus, as well as the in-form Zuzana Hejnova of the Czech Republic.
Reigning Olympic Champion Natalya Antyukh failed to make the finals, after finishing sixth in her semi in 55.55 seconds.
