Kirani James wins third 400m semi
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Grenada’s Kirani James did just enough to qualify for the finals of the men’s 400m taking his semi-final in 44.81 the slowest winning time.
A fast finishing Luguelin Santos of the Dominican Republic was second in 44.83, followed by Pavel Maslak of the Czech Republic; 44.84.
Jamaica’s Javere Bell was seventh in 45.77.
The first two in each semi and the two fastest losers progress to the final.
