Williams-Mills leads Caribbean’s charge in 400m heats
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Six Caribbean athletes including three Jamaican’s will line up for the 400m heats at the 14th IAAF World Championships in Moscow Russia at 9:05am Saturday morning (Jamaica time).
Leading the Caribbean’s charge is Jamaican champion Novelene Williams-Mills in Heat 4.
Kedecia Baird of Guyana and Kineka Alexander of St Vincent are down to compete in Heat 1.
In Heat 3 Stephanie McPherson of Jamaica and Barbadian Sade Sealy face the starter.
And Patricia Hall will represent Jamaica and the Caribbean in Heat 5.
The first four in each Heat along with the four fastest finishers qualify for the next round.
