The much improved filly, who opened her winning account going 1,600 metres on June 26, but found a stumbling block in very the talented Royal Vibes when competing at this level for the first time on July 24, made no mistake yesterday in a competitive field of native-bred youngsters.

“With the work by her during her preparation I was looking forward for a time in the region 1:27 flat. But it is a good victory and I’m not complaining,” he added.
A half-sister to Derby winner The Bomber, the win by Princess Shaneil completed a double for both trainer and connections on the nine-race card following a one-length victory posted in the second race by the 5-2 shot Real Vibes Machines ridden by claiming apprentice Renardo McNaughton.
Persian Belle, the 6-5 favourite ridden by Jevvanne Erwin, finished second with the highly fancied Mama Blossom, at 2-1 ridden by Omar Walker, finishing a neck away third. El Cliente completed the frame of eight another neck away under Aaron Chatrie at odds of 12-1.
