‘Bootie’ Harris inducted as Constant Spring cop Masters title
Warren ‘Bootie’ Harris, a former Cush Masters player and long-standing member of the Kingston and St Andrew Masters League Association (KSAMLA) was on Sunday inducted into the Masters League Hall Of Fame.
The induction ceremony took place at half time during the playing of the KSAMLA Champions of Champions Trophy final between holders Constant Spring and challengers Santos at the Constant Spring playfield.
Constant Spring won the 80-minute game 2-0 with second goals from substitute Brenton Smith and Fabian Watkins.
The victory gave Constant Spring their third hold on the trophy that was first played for in 2009. Barbican FC won the first two editions, while Constant Spring won the next three editions with their last victory on Sunday. Santos earlier beat Nautico 2-1 in a play-off at National Water Commission playfield to set up Sunday’s showdown.
