MONTEGO BAY, St James — Heights FC have taken a one-goal lead over Faulkland FC in one semi-final tie in the St James Football Association Guardian Life Division Two competition, while the other is knotted up at 2-2 between Club Stars and Somerton.
In Thursday’s first leg action at the UDC field, Michael Stewart scored in the 65th minute to give Heights the lead over Faulkland going into next Thursday’s return-leg at the same venue.
Club Stars and Somerton then combined for four goals, three coming in the final 30 minutes, to leave their tie in the balance.
Dwayne Anderson scored the first of his double in the 37th minute to give Somerton the lead at half-time then doubled it in the 61st minute.
Bobby Campbell pulled one back in the 67th minute for Club Stars before Mono Leslie struck in the 77th minute to level the scores.
