Pepperpot: Dethroned kingmaker goes berserk!
You can’t say your girl, Eva didn’t tell you. The dethroned kingmaker went wild and let loose at a meeting in Cayman, causing the last vestiges of support for him to dissipate. He has played into the hands of the directors who have been campaigning to get him out. Some are saying the loss from the publication in the motherland is the reason for all the drama.
Is there something in the water he is drinking?
There is hardly anything that my girlfriends agree on entirely. But all the ladies agree on one thing. That attorney KD Knight needs to be reined in. It makes the profession look bad when a senior lawyer is insulting and shouting at witnesses he is cross-examining. But who laughs last laughs best. He might one day need work from the same witnesses he is berating now.
A love for the spliff
The attorney who is said to have ruined his law practice by his love for ganja, has slipped back into the island as quietly as he slipped out. Lawyers and other professionals had better learn that marijuana is not something to play around with, despite what all those advocating its legalisation are saying.
What’s up with Yohan Blake?
I am still waiting to hear whether Yohan Blake will be able to represent us at the World Champs in Moscow. Last thing we were told is that he was undergoing medical checks in Germany. Why the continued silence?
A handsome, smart PM
St Lucia’s prime minister, Kenny Anthony is not only handsome he is smart too. Noticed his recent decision to leave the UK Privy Council and join the Caribbean Court of Justice? That’s a good move for Caribbean jurisprudence. You get my vote, Mr Prime Minister.
Question of the week
Can’t the people who have a problem with the toll road rate hike use the alternative route?
