Petrojam stop Carib Cement in KSA Business House Football
Defending champion Petrojam lead Division One with 16 points after they defeated Carib Cement 3-0 last Wednesday at Bull Pen in the 2013 Western Sports-sponsored KSA Business House Football Competition.
David Stultz, Fabian Reid and Jahmeal Spence scored for Petrojam to remain undefeated. Former champions National Water Commission clipped former champion Gleaner Company 1-0 with Jermaine Bailey scoring in the 81st minute. Scotiabank Group and Norman Manley Airport (NMIA) played to a 1-1 draw with Rolondo Thompson scoring for NMIA and Donovan Hibbert scoring for Scotiabank Group. They remain second on 10 points with Wisynco Group third on nine points, NMIA fourth on eight points.
In Division Two, Metrodade Protection and Security lead with 12 points from four games and they are followed by Red Stripe with 10 points from five games, and Pepsi Cola Jamaica third on nine points from five games.
In other games played, Continental Baking Company and Xerox drew 2-2 at the NWC playing field with Trevor Alexander scoring a brace, while Rolly Burke and Kemar Barnet scored for Xerox.
Goals from Alonzo Christie and Andre Morgan carried J Wray and Nephew to a 2-1 victory over ISCF. A Shaun Daley strike in the 58th minute enabled NHT to clip JUTC 1-0. Pepsi Cola Jamaica stopped BOJ 4-1 on Tuesday with Errol Dixon, Ronald Thompson, Damone Whittaker and Anthwan Campbell scoring. Akeem Themstead got the consolation for BOJ.
The competition continued yesterday with two matches in Division One and two in Division Two.
Today, Jamaica Customs will play Norman Manley International Airport at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex starting at 4:00 pm.
