VCB tests positive – ‘B’ sample confirms finding
It has now been confirmed that star athlete Veronica Campbell Brown has tested positive for a banned diuretic under the rules of the WDA.
The diuretic can be used as a masking agent for the use of performance-enhancing drugs.
Late last night it was revealed that Campbell Brown’s ‘B’ sample confirmed the finding of the ‘A’ sample. It is understood that the athlete and her management team will be visiting the laboratory where the ‘B’ sample was tested. Campbell Brown’s samples were taken after she performed at the May 4 Jamaica Invitational Meet.
