MIAMI, Florida — CONCACAF yesterday announced the renewal of its partnership with Mexsport, which returns as the official photography agency for the 2013 and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cups.

The Gold Cup, the region’s biennial championship, will take place this summer in 13 venues across the United States. Mexsport will again serve as CONCACAF’s official photographer, with its skilled photographers providing images for editorial use.

“We are pleased to reaffirm our relationship with Mexsport as the official photography agency for the 2013 and 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cups,” said CONCACAF general secretary Enrique Sanz.

“Their profound knowledge of the game, demonstrated professionalism, and understanding of our editorial vision help to make Mexsport an ideal partner for CONCACAF.”

Among the most experienced and well-known sports wire services in Latin America, with access to an extensive library of archived images, Mexsport has covered seven FIFA World Cups, nine CONCACAF Gold Cups and eight Copa Americas, as well as numerous World Cup qualifiers around the CONCACAF and CONMEBOL regions. The company has also covered the Mexican Primera Division — now Liga MX — for 25 years.

The 2013 edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup kicks off on 7 July, with a double-header at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, host of the 2011 Gold Cup final.
