St James football semis on today
MONTEGO BAY, St James — The first leg semi-finals of the St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Group Senior League will be played this afternoon at Jarrett Park, with the first game of the double-header starting at 5:00 pm.
North Gully Ambassadors will meet Little Miami in the first game followed by Montego Bay Boys Club against Fogo United.
The teams will meet again on Friday in the return leg with the winners on aggregate advancing to the final set for June 21 and 30.
On form Little Miami should advance to their third straight final where they are expected to meet Montego Bay Boys Club.
Boys Club finished with the most points-34 and most goals-33, the latter thanks to a big 6-0 drubbing of Violet Kickers in their final third round game just over a week ago.
Little Miami and North Gully both had 30 points, but while Little Miami qualified with games in hand, North Gully stumbled into the semis with indifferent form.
