Tuffy fans protest striker’s exclusion from Boyz team
KINGSTON Jamaica — Waterhouse residents blocked sections of the Washington Boulevard in Kingston to protest the exclusion of one their own from today’s World Cup qualifier against Mexico at the National Stadium.
The residents say National Premier League (NPL) standout Jermaine ‘Tuffy’ Anderson should have been included in the squad to face the visiting Mexicans tonight.
Reports are that Tuffy’s supporters also staged a protest at the Jamaica Football Federation’s headquarters in New Kingston and in Montego Bay.
