Pepper Pot: Breaching the Ten Commandments
One of the most important of the Ten Commandments is Thou shalt not envy. The dethroned one has obviously not been to church. One board member who has turned against him has been openly saying things and telling all who would listen that the problem stems from the exalted one not having achieved greatness but having greatness thrust upon him. So he can’t stand to see his competitor’s continuing success, both here and regionally.

New cassava king
Congratulations seem to be in order. Mr Roger Clarke is apparently the new cassava king, having taken over from Dr Christopher Tufton. So there is merit in cassava after all, not that old-time Jamaicans didn’t know about those famous cassava dumplings.
A Knight without his shining armour
The Pot has been following with keen interest the ATL pension fraud case in both newspapers. Attorney KD Knight is very much the legal gladiator. But his treatment of witnesses leaves much to be desired. He has definitely lost his shining armour.
Question of the week
Will Jamaica follow the example of Dominica whose Prime Minister Skerritt announced his country would soon be dispensing with the UK Privy Council in favour of the Caribbean Court of Justice?
