Kemble, JFF’s head of Competitions /Facilities Overseer, along with Brown, General manager of Independence Park Limited, which is responsible for the preparation of the National Stadium field, will seek to gain as much knowledge for the benefit of Jamaica.
The Facilities Maintenance Seminar is designed to provide a platform for advanced education on facilities maintenance and will focus on:
* Details on best practices for maintenance of natural grass and football turf (artificial turf);
* Correct use of maintenance equipment;
* Management of use, income generation and planning at facilities;
* Assessment of the comprehension of the material with a view to participants becoming national educators on facilities maintenance.
FIFA has advised that participants will be tested and those who are successful will be certified as qualified to provide general facilities maintenance support to others.
