Mogul in the making participant launches Language Cradle today
MOGUL in the Making 2012 participant Nadine Boothe-Gooden continues to soar with the official launch tomorrow of the local branch of the Language Cradle which she founded in Hong Kong, China in 2006.
“The Language Cradle is an international organisation that offers individuals and groups the opportunity to learn and master a foreign language of their choice,” said Boothe-Gooden who is its managing director. “Students are encouraged to speak with fluency and accuracy, as well as develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.”
The organisation was launched in 2006 in Hong Kong, China, where she studied. But demand for its services encouraged Boothe-Gooden and her team to open a local branch in Jamaica in 2009. Tomorrow the branch will have its official local launch, an indication of growing demand.
Boothe-Gooden was one of the outstanding participants in Jamaica Observer’s Mogul in the Making Competition 2012 and has since gone on to represent Jamaica in the 10,000 Women initiative, a programme pioneered by the United States Secretary of State and Goldman and Sachs.
The launch will be held at the Pegasus Hotel, New Kingston in collaboration with the Katalyxt 2013 Business Development Conference. Its products and services will be on display and guests will have the opportunity to interact with the principals.
