Pepper Pot: Taking competition to the ridiculous
Competition is a good thing, but some people seem to think they have a God-given right not to have competition. They’re even willing to break all rules of fair play and decency to hit at their competitors. That includes using their media access to devastating effect.
The mother of all scandals
We had put you on notice that the mother of all scandals is coming. Well, watch for it any day now. The partnership has irretrievably broken down and blows were exchanged last week! Portia’s secret of youthfulness
The girls were talking less about the budget presentation and more about how young Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller looks for someone in the late-60s. You have to admit it, she looks good. Perhaps the PM might want to share the secret formula.
Disingenuous
Public Defender Earl Witter’s diatribe against those, including the media, who criticised his tardiness in completing the Tivoli Report, is nothing short of disingenuous. He expects to drag his feet and be applauded. Somebody should remind him he’ll need the media one day.
Question of the week
