Jaguars hunt third straight win
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Granville Jaguars will be seeking their third straight win in the Flow National Basketball League-West today, weather permitting, when they take on winless Lane Tigers in the second game of a double header at the Montego Bay Cricket Club, set to start at 8:00 pm.
Granville are off to yet another good start as they did last season when they were perfect through the regular season before losing in the finals to Catherine Hall All-Stars.
After back-to-back losses to start the season, Catherine Hall will be seeking their first win today when they take on Lucea Flames in the first game set to start at 6:00 pm.
All-Stars and Flames have combined for three losses so far, as Flames were beaten by promoted MBCC Knights in their only game, while All-Stars have gone down to Jaguars and Hoopers.
Granville are expected to roll to yet another win after big win, beating All-Stars 96-62, and Hoopers 74-62.
Hoopers, however, lead the points table with five points from three games, including two wins, one more point than Jaguars and Knights, winners of two games; Tigers are next on two points with Flames at the bottom on one point from their only game.
