PORTMORE Missionary Two clipped hosts Vaz 3-2 in one of three matches played in the JTTA Prep Schools Table Tennis Competition on Thursday.

In the other games, St Andrew blanked Holy Childhood 5-0 and hosts Sts Peter & Paul drubbed newcomers Emmanuel 5-0. Home teams are named first.

In individual results in the Portmore Missionary Two versus Vaz contest, Maurice Sturlong pipped Jhavier Lynch 3-2; Nathan Pryce edged Davian Carr 3-2; and Brianna Lindo eased past Arianna Demetrius 3-0. Daniel Austin nipped Nicholas Morgan 3-2 and Jahleel Richards crushed Daniel Peterkin 3-0 for Vaz’s two consolation victories.

In the St Andrew/Holy Childhood encounter, Jon-Pierre Daley, Matthew Comrie and Raquel Demetrius scored easy 3-0 wins over Jason White, Dujaun Jackson and Jannel Blake, respectively, for St Andrew. St Andrew’s Hannibal D’Aguliar and Richard Barnett won by default from Aleck Jaggan and Noel Golding, respectively, to complete

St Andrew’s 5-0 victory.

The competition continues next Tuesday with the playing of three more matches.
