St George’s march into Major League final with 4-0 win
BUFF BAY, Portland — St George’s Sports Club marched into Saturday’s final of the Portland Football Association Western Union Major League when they defeated Boundbrook United 4-0 in their second leg semi-final game at Lynch Park on Tuesday.
The goals were scored by Girvan Brown (59th minute), Horace Sharpe (60th), Demar Easington (82nd) and Daniel Shaw (85th).
St George’s dominated play from the first whistle, and their offensive industry was led by Kemar Miller and goalkeepers Brown and Sharpe.
When Boundbrook happened to go forward, they did so through through Ryan Neil, Tyrone Brown, Kemar Purrier, and Adrian Wright, but as the score would reflect, their finishing left a lot to be desired.
