All squared in Western Confed Super League
FROME, Westmoreland — It’s all square after the first legs of the semi-finals of the Jamaica Football Federation Captain’s Bakery and Grill Western Confederation Super League at the Frome Sports Complex on Thursday.
Former national player O’Brian Woodbine rescued Reno FC with a late goal in the 88th minute to earn a 1-1 draw with Granville FC.
Granville FC finished fourth in the points table after the preliminary rounds, but took the lead against the top-ranked Reno through Jeffroy Leslie in the 27th minute.
In the first game, St James teams Tomorrow’s People and Wadadah FC played out a 0-0 draw.
The teams will meet in the return leg semi-finals at Jarrett Park next Tuesday for a place in the final.
