North Gully Ambassadors look to rebound
MONTEGO BAY, St James — North Gully Ambassadors will seek to rebound from a shock loss to Granville City last week when they take on Reggae Youths in the third game of a triple-header at Jarrett Park today in the St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Senior League third round.
The loss dropped North Gully four points behind new leaders Montego Bay Boys’ Club, 20-24, but they will hope to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time this season against an improving Reggae Youths team, as the race for semi-final places intensify.
Reggae Youths are currently in seventh place on 14 points, six behind, but have picked up seven points from their last three outings, including a 4-0 beating of Rosemount Gardens last week.
Granville City will hope to continue their winning run when they take on Revelations in the first game set to start at 3:00 pm, while semi-final aspirants Montego Bay United Under-21 and Salt Spring United will meet in the second game set for 5:00 pm
