England glow in 3-0 Sunshine Series sweep
ENGLAND’s third-ranked netballers beat Jamaica 50-36 in the third and final game of the Supreme Ventures Sunshine Series in front of a jam-packed crowd at the National Indoor Sports Centre (NISC) yesterday to win the series 3-0.

At the end of the third quarter the Jamaicans had taken the deficit down to four goals, 34-30.
The Jamaicans took the first blow in the final quarter, taking the lead to within three points, but after a few unforced errors, the English Roses had pushed themselves into an even better position.
The Jamaicans game suffered in the final minutes of the quarter as the English pulled away.
Sabrina Spence led with 27 goals from 36 attempts for Jamaica, while England goal attack Pamela Cookey had 23 from 25.
