MoBay U-21s edge Rosemount Gardens 1-0
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Montego Bay United Under-21 bounced back from a loss last week to edge winless Rosemount Gardens 1-0 in their St James Football Association return-round Sandals/ATL Senior League game at the UDC field on Wednesday.
After getting a point from MBU Under-21 in the first round, Rosemount went down to their fifth loss and are rooted at the bottom of Zone B with four points.
Tahjay Kelly scored his first goal of the season for MBU Under-21 in the 20th minute as they bounced back from their loss to Reggae Youths in their previous game and moved to 17 points, three behind zone leaders Montego Bay Boys’ Club on 20.
Three more games will be played this afternoon at Jarrett Park as the league continues. They are Fogo United versus Violet Kickers at 3:30 pm, followed by Salt Spring United against Granville City, while North Gully Ambassadors and Melbourne United will meet in the third game.
