‘ELe’ does Freaks remix
RECORDING artiste Elephant Man believes that his recent remix of the Nicki Minaj and French Montana’s dancehall-inspired Freaks is another shot in the arm for his international career.
“It is an official remix. Hebrew from Hot 97 in the States contacted me to do it. Right now, the ting look good,” Elephant Man said.
The track was recorded two weeks ago and produced by the New York-based disc jock.
The artiste, formerly signed to Sean ‘P Diddy’ Coombs’ Bad Boys Records, sees the remix as an opportunity to reach new audiences.
He recently released singles Wata Rave featuring Lovindeer and God Never Fails.
“The selectors love God Never Fails, dem say it remind them of my other hit, Too Bad Mind, and that it come along right now, worse at a time like this with so many spiritual, emotional and economic struggles, it connect,” Elephant Man said.
“Right now, dancehall nice again, the key is to get the spins,” he said.
