JFF apologises for
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) today apologised for “incidents of inconvenience” which were reported at the World Cup Qualifier at the National Stadium last Friday.
Among the complaints from the match were issues regarding seating and that some patrons were unable to enter the stadium although they had tickets.
“Despite exhaustive planning and anticipation, we are aware and have been receiving reports regarding a number of incidents…we wish to assure all that an urgent review has been commissioned into the reports,” JFF President, Captain Horace Burrell, said.
The match played between the Reggae Boyz and Panama ended in a one-all draw.
The Reggae Boyz are now in Costa Rica where they will face the home team in another World Cup qualifying match.
