MBU must win games, says Weatherly
MONTEGO BAY, St James — ALL matches from here on out are must-win games says Montego Bay United’s head coach Dr Dean Weatherly as they prepare to host Waterhouse FC in a Red Stripe Premier League game this evening at the Montego Bay Sports Complex, starting at
7:00 pm.
After a 1-1 draw against Cavalier SC on Monday at Drewsland Sports Complex in Kingston, MBU extended their winless run to five games, drawing their last four in row, which for Weatherly “is a serious cause for concern”.
The coach told Observer West yesterday, “we are not losing, but there have been games where we should have won but we keep dropping points. But from now on all games are must-win if we want to stay in the top six for the fourth round.”
Montego Bay United are in sixth place on 41 points, two more than seventh place Tivoli Gardens, while Waterhouse who beat Arnett Gardens 2-1 on Monday are in third place on 47 points.
