LIME’s Facebook ‘tun up’ Champs heat
CHAMPS 2013 is running red across the island as track and field fans team up in donning their school colours, waving flags and tooting vuvuzelas.
This time of year for Jamaicans is like Christmas all over again, the young, the old and everybody between are in high anticipation for the five-day event.
The ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Championships is a stage upon which many lifetime memories are created, especially for the spectators in the stands at the National Stadium enjoying the company of good friends and friendly rivalry amongst other school supporters. These memories should be cherished and LIME will be ensuring that spectators value every moment.
The LIME camera crew will be on the prowl with life-size frames and cut outs to take photos of outstanding school supporters in the stands. The camera crew will be looking out for bold fashion statements, the hottest cliques and creative items in the crowd to post on their Facebook page live from the venue, so all fans of the LIME page can experience the Champs excitement too.
“The Champs experience is something every young person will cherish for a lifetime, and LIME will be helping track and field fans to capture these memories. A picture is worth a thousand words and we are looking forward to the comments of our Facebook fans and if you are not a fan all you have to do is like the LIME page and you too will be able to view the valuable moments of Champs 2013 that our camera crew will be capturing,” said Stephen Miller, sponsorship manager of LIME.
The telecommunications company also has an exciting game called the LIME Championships Race where players can win great weekly prizes or the grand prize of a trip for two to the Carifta games in The Bahamas on the LIME Jamaica Facebook page.
