The self-declared saint has been found to be acting on behalf of political friends who are dabbling in legal matters on behalf of the ex-executives. But his own past has returned to haunt him and people both here and over there are questioning his sincerity.

People are saying that the Shanique Myrie case, which began its trial here, has done more for the acceptability of the Caribbean Court of Justice than years of public relations to convince Jamaicans that it’s best to have a final appeal court in the region. Is Mico sending Mr Packer packing?
A Pepperpot reader wants to know if Mico University College is replacing its president, Mr Packer, or is he just resigning? We had a good impression of him as a top intellectual and administrator. Maybe the college would wish to send us a note of clarification.
Drug addiction friction
The last son of the well-known family is said to be on drugs and causing the family no ends of embarrassment. They are spending a small fortune trying to get him through rehab but to no avail. The older siblings are insisting that he was spoilt by their parents.
Ex-MP fallen on bad times
The former MP has fallen on bad times and not even his colleagues will visit him. In the glory days he was surrounded by friends, or at least people he thought were his friends.
Air pump campaign
Don’t forget to boycott those gas stations without air pumps. It’s a crying shame and disgrace in this day when quality customer service is supposed to be the order of the day.
