Jamaican ‘Jordan’ denied by basketball great
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Basketball great Michael Jordan has requested the dismissal of a paternity suit brought by a woman who claims he’s the father of her 16-year-old, Jamaican-born son.
The six-time National Basketball Association champion vehemently denies that he is the father of Pamela Smith’s son, named Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds, and insists that she is making false claims against him.
Smith has requested that the basketball hall-of-famer take a paternity test and pay child support for the child, who it’s said was born in Jamaica but raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
But Jordan says that the boy’s paternity has been established in a previous court case several years ago and has filed a counter claim for the suit brought against him, reports in the US media say.
