JCA annual awards ceremony this Friday
The Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) will be hosting its Annual Awards Ceremony on Friday at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge commencing at 7:00 pm.
The Honourable Douglas Orane will be the guest speaker.
In keeping with our vision, the Annual Awards Ceremony seeks to honour the stalwarts, encourage the hard-working persons in the association and celebrate the success of the island’s domestic and national cricketers and teams.
It may be recalled that during the nation’s 50th year of Independence in 2012, several of Jamaica’s teams brought glory by winning regional championships. These include the senior male four-day and Super50 teams as well as the female T20 team, and also the national Under-17 boys team. There were also stellar individual performances by the Jamaican members of the West Indies winning T20 World Cup Team. The JCA will also be honouring the men who run the WICB Regional Four-Day in the last five years.
