Bolt to run on Brazilian beach
SPRINTER Usain Bolt will run the 150m on a Brazilian beach next month.
The multiple-time Olympic champion will run the race on the South American country’s famous Copacabana beach against four of the world’s best sprinters, says Bolt’s website.
A track will be built on the beach for the distance for which he holds the world record of 14.35 seconds, set in Manchester, England almost four years ago.
He also has the fastest times ever over the 100m and 200m and will be seeking to win both events at this August’s Outdoor World Championships in Russia.
