Gully Ambassadors take led in Sandals/ATL senior league
MONTEGO BAY, St James — North Gully Ambassadors took over the lead in Zone A of the St James Football Associationâs Sandals/ATL Senior League after scoring their first win of the season beating Granville City 2-1 in the third game of a triple header at Jarrett Park on Friday night.
The win took North Gully Ambassadors which had drawn the previous two games to five points, one more than Violet Kickers who were held 1-1 by Melbourne United in the opening game.
Salt Spring moved into third place, on goal difference behind Violet kickers with four points after scoring their first win, beating Fogo United 1-0 in the second game.
In the first game, Violet Kickers took the lead in the first half but Melbourne which has not lost a game since last season, salvaged appoint to extend their unbeaten run to 13 games dating back to last season.
Montego Bay United leads Zone B with seven points from two wins and a draw, ahead of Reggae Youths on five points with Little Miami and Montego Bay Boys Club on four points each.
