Pepperpot: His day in court
The fraudulent one will have his day in court and the bombshells will be beyond spectacular. Everything is about to come out in the open and, naturally, there is great dread. Friends are advising him to try to beg off but even that may be too late.
Bacchanal triumvirate
Word is that the Bacchanal triumvirate has been ordered home by the maximum leader who was embarrassed by talk that the administration was calling for sacrifice while some were out having fun, and that in the energy crisis, Nero was fiddling in Trinidad while Rome burnt.
Incomplete PR lesson
Portia and Peter learnt part of the PR lesson well, except they did not complete the lesson. The joint broadcast was the bomb. But as with bad PR, the whole truth was not told and by the next day when the stealth tax was unleashed, all the goodwill seemed to have dissipated.
Boycotting gas stations
The media executive has been gaining support for his campaign to boycott any gas station which does not have an air pump. He has even dropped the service station he has used for years because it no longer has an air pump while many of its customers have to be driving around trying to find a pump.
Wheel an’ come again, BNS
Scotiabank’ Visa debit card is still problematic. Some merchants don’t have machines that can process one or the other — debit or credit. So I can’t ask my husband to use my card and I can’t use his, unless he is there, in cases where only the credit machine is available. That’s because an ID is necessary for the credit, where only the PIN number is necessary for debit. What an inconvenience.
