Cricket festival in Comfort Saturday
MANDEVILLE, Manchester – An inaugural twenty20 cricket festival will be held at Comfort district close to Royal Flat in central Manchester, starting at 10:00am Saturday (Febryary16).
Businessman Steve Ashman, who is among the organisers, says four teams, Wansted CC from England, a Delroy Morgan XI, a St James Masters and a St Elizabeth IX will compete for the Comfort Cricket Festival Trophy.
Organisers say several former Jamaica and West Indies cricketers will participate while the highly respected former ICC elite umpire Steve Bucknor will be among the match officials.
