FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Invaders SC’s opponents in the mid season final of the Trelawny Football Association Monymusk White Overproof Rum Major League could be decided in the boardroom today when the disciplinary committee meets for an emergency meeting.

Exidos So Fresh, who needed to beat Flames by a four-goal margin to qualify ahead of Prospect Links from Zone Two, lead 1-0 with 10 minutes to go in their second round game on Saturday when crowd invasion caused a premature end to the contest.

League coordinator Marlene Brown told the Jamaica Observer yesterday they had received the match reports and the committee is to meet this afternoon to decide on the game.

Prospect Links have completed their schedule with 17 points from 10 games with a plus three goal difference, but Exidos would get the spot if they were to be awarded the game and three goals, as they already have 11 goals to Prospect Links’ 10.

Invaders have confirmed their place in the final after topping Zone One with 17 points.

One rescheduled game will be played today, Granville and Spicy Hill will meet at Carter Play field at 3:00 pm.

Meanwhile, Clarks Town and Duanvale both scored wins on Sunday to improve their positions in the table.

Clarks Town moved to within three points of Invaders in Zone One with a 3-1 win over Jackson Town, as three goals came in an exciting first 17 minutes of the game.

Sheldon Johnson’s seventh minute strike gave Clarks Town the lead before Dwayne Williams equalised for Jackson Town in the 14th minute.

Dhane Johnson, however, restored Clarks Town’s lead in the 17th minute before Lloyd James put the game out of reach in the 80th minute.

Duanvale jumped two places up to second on 14 points, leading Exidos So Fresh on goal difference after blanking Classic United 3-0.

A mistake by a Classic defender in the fourth minute put the team a goal down, while Kemar Hylton doubled their miseries in the 17th minute before Ernesto Barrett’s 64th minute goal wrapped up the points.
