Gasoline prices continue upward trend
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Motorists will be forced to dig even deeper into their pockets as Petrojam, Jamaica’s sole oil refinery, has again increased ex-refinery gasoline prices.
87-octane gasoline will be sold for $106.86 per litre, up $1.73.
90 Gasoline is increased by the same margin and will sell at $108.52.
Automotive diesel is up by $2.06, settling at $115.31 while kerosene will sell for $117.89, up $1.75 per litre.
Propane liquid will sell for $38.10 per litre, up by $2.70.
Butane with the lone decrease will sell for $55.06 per litre, a drop of 85 cents.
Marketing agents and retailers will add their respective mark-up.
